Coca-Cola’s plant bottle

Coca-Cola’s Quest for the Perfect Bottle Starts with Plants

Coca-cola is taking the lead in a environmental friendly bottle for their business. The new bottle will be made up of mostly plant material that consists of sugar cane and molasses from Brazil. It seems to me that Coca-cola is realizing the impacts of good ethnics in environmental protection. In the future for our economy and environment to remain in healthy shape corporations and citizens need to strive to practice good morals that keep our environment in mind.

I think it is great that major corporations are moving to become more environmentally focused with their products. I don’t understand why more companies don’t use plant material to make product packaging. It seems that the government should make a law that pushes for the eventual standardization of product packaging to be solely plant based.
Also, there is a lot of money to be made in the Green Market, even if the company isn’t concerned about the environment it is still a good PR move with a potential for a big increase in business.
